Welcome to Burton Lake Preschool!

    Hello! I’m Miss Kaylin. My goal as a preschool teacher is to create a safe and fun environment where your child feels loved, confident and excited about learning. Burton Lake Preschool is a home-based, early childhood program where your little one will experience hands-on, literacy rich learning that builds confidence and prepares them with the social, emotional and intellectual skills needed to be successful in Kindergarten. In addition to direct instruction during circle time which includes writing, alphabet/phonemic awareness and music/movement, your child will be excited to explore 6 learning centers including science discovery, dramatic play, construction, art, reading and math. Field trips, holiday parties, birthday celebrations and ‘Star of the Week’ spotlights will delight your pre-K little one! Most importantly, your child will make new friends!

    I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood education at Weber State University. My experience includes teaching at the Melba S. Lehner Children’s School at Weber State University as well as Kindergarten and 3rd grade at Whitesides Elementary in Layton, Utah. I began teaching preschool in 2012. I am a wife and mother of four.
